Abstract painting with soft, blended tones of gray, pink, blue, and yellow, evoking a sense of calm and serenity. The textured brushwork adds depth and movement to the artwork, creating a peaceful, dreamlike atmosphere.
 

Sometimes paintings are created and then the story becomes evident after. Thus is the case for Steps Beach ACK. When I painted it I felt serene and calm and the feeling returns every time I look at it. I’m reminded of the view from the top of that beloved Nantucket beach, looking out towards the horizon, grasses bending back and forth in the breeze.
