Abstract acrylic on canvas painting with sweeping curves in browns, yellows, and oranges, contrasted by blue and white. The fluid, swirling composition evokes movement and balance, blending warm and cool tones in a harmonious abstract artwork.

I was “in a mood”. I was grumpy. I picked up the brush and started to blend colors. I was still very new to painting and didn’t have all the experience of those who’d gone to art school or grew up with the craft. I wanted to smooth everything out, my emotions included. With every movement I felt a little calmer, till I stood back and saw two eyes and a face- a happy face- staring back at me. I missed what had also formed along the way, a perfectly content couple, a man and women embraced in each others glow. Now when I look at this piece I can’t see anything else, which also makes me smile. This piece was also alternatively called Roll With It, for the way I had to let go and trust the process. This applies to both the creative process and the emotional process.
